10K

Danny and I completed a 10K this morning. It was my very first race and it was a lot of fun. The weather was perfect. We had a nice breeze and the temperature stayed in the 60's. Special thank you to Nana for keeping all 3 girls for us - especially since 2 of them were sick.

The Easter bunny came

At our house the Easter bunny likes to hide the Easter baskets. Madison did a great job and found them pretty quickly.

Payton I don't think is 100% sure what this basket full of eggs is all about but once she figured it out...

she had to make sure she didn't leave one behind.

Madison's 3rd birthday party!

Madison had a Tinkerbell birthday party to celebrate turning 3. We had a great time making pixie dust and hunting Easter eggs. Madison had a wonderful time and I think she would love if every day could be her birthday! She loved having all of her friends and family here and didn't want them to leave. Thanks to everyone for making her birthday perfect and a special Happy Birthday to Madison! ;)

Happy 3rd Birthday

We have been doing a lot of celebrating at our house today. Not only have we been celebrating Easter but Madison turned 3 today. Happy 3rd Birthday to Madison!

Happy 9 month birthday!

Payton and Taylor are 9 months old today! We took all three girls to the doctor for well-visit and he said they all look great. Apparently Madison is doing pretty good in terms of growing because she is in the 75th percentile in height...I am thinking this is not coming from me. We are looking forward to a fun weekend as Madison turns 3 and celebrating Easter.

Tonight after dinner we sat outside for a while. Madison danced in the yard and looked like she was having such a good time. Here are a few pictures...the quality isn't great on some but the joy still comes across. Too bad I didn't get a video of her.

Busy Saturday

Madison had a great Saturday. It was a day all about her. It started out with some Mommy and me time. Madison's friend Emily Kay had her birthday party early that afternoon and we had a great time. Emily Kay had her birthday at the Mississippi Ag Museum. Madison got to ride a horse and we also rode a train and a carousel. It was a nice change of pace to be able to spend that time with Madison and enjoy it being just the two of us.

After the birthday party Madison and I went to get Daddy and headed to a Mississippi Braves game. It was a lot of fun and I think Madison enjoyed all the attention Mommy and Daddy were giving her.

Water fun

It seems as though summer is coming quick. We have had quite a few very warm days here in the last week. We decided to have a little water play and I think everyone really enjoyed it. Here are a few pictures of the girls having fun and one video of Taylor laughing at Madison who was splashing in the water.

Taylor is crawling

We have a crawler. Taylor started crawling this weekend...I would say she is all over the place but she was all over the place before just with rolling. This is not the best video to show her new skills but it gives you an idea. ;)

Fun Friday

We had a great time this past Friday. We had a playdate/picnic and it was a lot of fun. All the girls fell asleep as soon as got home for a long nap. (These times are few and far between for me). ;) In the first picture you can see Payton and Taylor in the stroller in the background. We then went out to eat for dinner and Taylor and Payton were big girls and sat in high chairs for the first time. I am very excited about this because it will make eating out so much easier. Two carriers really take up a lot of room in all restaurants!

First real food

Payton and Taylor got their first try of real food. I don't think they were too sure of it as they both kind of got a little choked at first. They had bananas and had a very hard time picking it up. I am pleased to say that by the end of this past week they were eating much better. You can tell they think it is fun but as soon as the food hits their tongues they seem very unsure of the textures...their faces are always priceless.
