Madison is really getting the hang of skating. She has wanted to skate everyday this week.

Gram needs cupcakes!

Two weekends ago Danny's parents came up for a visit. It was Gram's birthday and on Friday Madison insisted that Gram needed cupcakes for her birthday. She went back and forth on what color she wanted them to be but decided she would like them to just be white with sprinkles. Madison made the cupcakes all by herself. I pretty impressed with how well she did the icing on top of the cupcakes. I think we may have a future baker on our hands.

When I grow up...

Madison informed me the other day that when she grows up she belongs on the stage. I do find this humorous right now since she is in a phase of not talking to adults outside of our house. I personally love the choice of words (belongs instead of wants to be) and that she said them so passionately! We may just have a star on our hands...only time will tell. ;)

Wasp sting

Poor Payton thought it would be fun to pick up a wasp today. The wasp did not agree and Payton soon saw the error of her ways. Mommy was not a happy camper and a little bit in uncharted territory as I have never been stung by a wasp before. Her poor little pointer finger got really swollen...this photo really doesn't show how bad it look. It took me a long while to get her settled back down...playing with Mommy's keys and having a Popsicle helped some I believe.

Playing in the rain

It has been a very rainy labor day weekend. The perfect kind of rain for getting out and playing in it...so the girls did. They had so much fun running around the yard and playing with the play set. Then Payton and Taylor discovered the down spout...which makes me wonder why we waste money on toys!! ;)

Car fun

We went outside yesterday for a little bit of play time. It was hot so we weren't out there long but the girls had fun. I think they were planning a road trip. ;)
