The Christmas tree is up

We put our Christmas tree up on Friday night.  Madison was so excited that she was singing and dancing and stayed hyper most of the night.

A picture of when Madison was dancing and being silly around the Christmas tree.

This is always the first ornament that goes on our tree each year and Danny and I make sure that we put it on together.  If you can read it the ornament says "Our first Christmas together".  It always makes a us smile and it is a tradition that we cherish.

Madison hanging ornaments.

Posing by the tree.

She was so excited when we were finished that she just wanted to cut the lights off and stare at it.

We decided to wait and put the tree up after Payton and Taylor went to bed.  We do look forward to the time when they are old enough to help but for now this worked out well.  They were so excited to wake up and see it.  They both squealed with glee.  The tree was fully decorated all over and now the tree is fully decorated starting 3 feet up from the bottom.

Here they are discussing some ornaments they had picked off the tree.

Very much looking forward to this Christmas season.

School Thanksgiving program

Madison's school had a Thanksgiving program about a week and a half ago.  Madison was not looking forward to it at all.  She did give it a try but didn't last long up on stage.  We are very proud of her for trying it out again.  Here is a very short clip of part of a song that the 3 and 4 year olds sang together.

Playing with cousins

We went down Friday to spend the night with Madison's, Taylor's and Payton's cousins.  They had a blast playing and are ready to go back for another visit.  Madison was especially sad about going and wanted to stay another night.

Happy Halloween 2011

Madison, Payton and Taylor had so much fun trick or treating Monday night.  I will say I think Payton enjoyed it the most.  She was usually moving in front of Madison while waiting for the door to open.  Two times she just walked straight into the people's houses.  One time she was caught in the entry way the other time she made it all the way into the person's den.  Taylor mostly wanted to be held.  I will say they all loved the candy they got and even trick or treated our house to get some more.  ;)
