Reid turns 1

We got to visit with Danny's side of the family this weekend because our nephew turned the big number one. We had a wonderful time with family and friends and the party was fantastic. Here are some photos of the weekend.

St. Paddy's dog parade

We went to the dog St. Paddy's Day parade on Saturday. There were some really neat dogs - some breads you don't get to see that often. Madison really enjoyed all the dogs. She did not like the man dressed up as Spiderman an I think Payton and Taylor could have cared less about it all. ;)

Renaissance fun

We went to Renaissance (for those not familiar with the area it is an outdoor mall - not an outlet mall) on Friday afternoon. They have started the fountain up again which Madison loves. Madison had such fun running around and getting wet. Payton and Taylor even got to stick their feet in too. I will note that although they have cut the fountain on...the water is freezing.

Trip to the zoo

This past Thursday I decided to take the girls to the zoo. Madison had a great time looking at all of the animals but I think they all enjoyed the picnic the most. Apparently we were the most interesting exhibit at the zoo. During our picnic we had quite a few kids come and stand around our blanket and stare at us. Soon following a few parents walked up and joined them. It was very strange but we didn't let that stop our fun. We are really enjoying these warmer days.

Happy 8th Month Birthday

Taylor and Payton turned 8 months old yesterday. It seems like every month has gone by faster and faster. They are both getting to be so big and Payton even has her first two teeth. It looks like it might be a little while longer before Taylor's get here. I was reminiscing the other night and came across a photo of them the first week they were home and thought I would share. You can tell how much they have grown because now they are really filling out their bouncy seat. ;)

Here is a video of Payton and Taylor laughing at one another. It isn't great because it was later at night and I was far away from them. I was afraid if they saw me I would distract them from each other.

Playing together

Payton and Taylor are starting to play with one another which is very exciting to see. My favorite times are when they make each other laugh. Hope to get it on video soon.

Superstition

Madison loves this umbrella. She would play with it all the time if she could. As you will notice she is playing with it inside our house. She only gets to do this when Daddy is home which sometimes makes for a very upset little girl when he is not. She can't understand why Mommy won't let her play with the umbrella inside. As you might guess it is pretty hard to explain that Mommy is superstitious (really only umbrellas and ladders - which she walks under all the time) and as a result it causes a lot of hurt feelings. Mommy is ready for this phase of loving the umbrella to pass. ;)
