Madison is an expert at getting Taylor to laugh. It is so much fun to sit back and watch them in action.

Happy 6 month birthday!

Hard to believe it has been 6 months. Time has really gone by so fast. Taylor and Payton are definitely keeping us busy! It will be interesting to see how busy they will be keeping us when they start crawling and walking. ;) We have been practicing sitting up and they are both doing great. Taylor almost has it down. She can stay seated for a little while. Payton is still working hard at it and making progress. She is more interested in leaning towards what ever toy is nearby. Here are a couple of pictures of their hard work. I promise Payton is sitting in the picture...it is really hard to see because it is all so dark.

Children's Museum

We visited the Children's Museum last weekend and Madison had a lot of fun. There were so many things to do from catching catfish, crawling through caves and playing giant scrabble. I know we will be going a lot in the future and it will just get more and more fun as everyone gets older. Here are a few pictures of all the fun.

This video has been posted before but we are really excited that our Auburn Tigers won the BCS National Championship last night!!!! We are proud of our Auburn Tigers and hope everyone in Auburn had fun rolling the tree last night! WAR EAGLE!!!

Mandi's baking blog

Some of you may know that I have an interest in baking and because of this I have started a second blog. Please note that The Burgess Family blog is not going anywhere...this is our personal family blog. The new blog is a blog to document my growth in my baking skills. You can take a peak or not waste your time it is up to you but I did want to make everyone aware. The new is a work in progress and I do plan to write more on it. It is currently just pictures as I was trying to get it up quickly.

Happy New Year

It's a late post to say Happy New Year but Happy New Year. We had a chance of snow yesterday but all we got was ice. Madison wanted to go outside and see it this morning so we went out for a while. She loved hearing it crunch under her feet and knocking down the icicles. I wish it had snowed but glad Madison enjoyed the ice. Payton and Taylor were smart and napped warmly inside.
